ASTANA, April 3 (Khazakh-Today) – A wild duck fell into a courtyard in Astana, a Kazakhstan-Today correspondent Monday reported.
“A whole flock flew by, and one of the birds fell”, a witness said, adding the incident occurred Sunday at about 19H30 (13H30 GMT) on Al-Farabi street, 3.
Some children rushed to the scene and gave the duck some bread and put it in a small box.
A team of the sanitarian and epidemiology service of the Kazakh capital finally arrived 40 minutes later, and took the injured bird with them.
It wasn’t immediately clear why someone reported the news.
